Continuing the live blogging from airport boarding lounges...

Last night was a night off in sydney. A heatwave struck the city and it was 37 degrees for most of the day. Mental. The heat was crazy, I felt dehydrated constantly. Only one way to solve that... beer!

Darling Harbour is hosting a latin festival this weekend so I managed to catch the opening celebration. Man, they spend a lot of money on fireworks in this city. The explosions were ridiculous, but fun.

Sydney has a thing for retro R+B nights (one of many reasons why I think PNC should live here). Usually they are hosted by dj's who never stopped playing 'Vibe' and 'Poison' but this one at middle bar managed to impress me (No mean feat lol). I wish I could remember the dj's name but he was a young guy whose selection of 80's and 70's funk/r+b was on point and very surprising for a 20 year old. For a minute it sounded like my own house party playlist, Steve Arrington and Funkadelic jams are the shit at my house, and they worked well at the bar last night too. Good one bro.

The journey continues today. And fortunately this flight looks to be right on schedule. Boarding now for Melbourne!
